Brittaney Davis24 days agoFrom the moment we walked through the door, we were treated less like customers and more like family. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and that same level of kindness carried through the entire staff. Every server was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, and you could tell that everyone there truly cared about making our experience special. And the FOOD — absolutely incredible! Everything was delicious, fresh, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. Huge compliments to the cooks and everyone behind the scenes because the quality of the food was just as impressive as the service. What really stood out to us, though, was the hospitality. They accommodated us in every way they possibly could and made us feel completely at home. There was never a moment where we felt like we were an inconvenience; instead, they made us feel like they were genuinely happy to have us there. That kind of service is hard to find! Between the amazing food, quality, atmosphere, cleanliness, hospitality, and phenomenal staff, this place deserves every bit of a 5-star rating. You can tell there is pride and heart behind what they do, from the owner all the way to the kitchen and serving staff. We will absolutely be back and would recommend this place without hesitation to anyone looking for delicious food and the kind of hospitality that makes you want to stay awhile. Thank you to the owner and the entire team for treating us like family and making our experience one we won’t forget! ❤️

Joyce W145 days agoPerfect Night! My husband and I dined at Alley House for our 40th anniversary - and had the BEST meals! We had the short rib and baseball cut filet which were cooked to perfection - melted in our mouths. The sides,; house salad and mashed potatoes were delicious also . Our server, Greg treated us like royalty - professional and kind and Jeffers, the manager, was very attentive to us - treating us to a lovely dessert. Mary K208 days agoVery nice! Not only do they have delicious food (try the calamari) but they’re good, honest people also! My family dined there on Tuesday night after a long day of skiing. It wasn’t until 24 hours later I realized my wallet was missing. (I had kept some cash in my ski pants so I never had needed it). We got back to the house Wednesday evening after skiing and I couldn’t find it. Thought back to the last time I saw it and realized it was, hopefully, there. Vacationer, so I had a large amount of cash in it so I just hoped and prayed someone honest found it. Sure enough, after I described it in great detail they told me it was locked in the safe. I almost cried when they brought it to me, cash still there! We will definitely eat there again next year not only because it was delicious but because they just good people!Posted on Tripadvisor
firesteed392 days agoLoved it! Will be back again! We had a fabulous experience at the Ally House Grille! Two of us had the Elk Tenderloin which was fabulous! I had he Filet Mignon. The only issue I had was I think they got the temperature confused between what the folks who ordered Elk and the other that ordered the Beef. Still was wonderful. Appetizers and Cocktails were great? Infact, I had the best cocktail I have had in a year! Will definitely returnPosted on Tripadvisor
RightTruRvws439 days agoBest meal and service in ages Since covid, it seems universally that it’s hard to get a meal at any restaurant that has both superior food and service. Alley House delivers both exceptionally. Staff works as a team to deliver seamless service. The short rib, house salad & shrimp, shrimp pasta and sea bass were all excellent. Best short rib dinner ever. Great wine list, including some actual good wines by the glass. This is an expensive restaurant, but most likely the best in Pagosa, totally amazing dining experience.Posted on Tripadvisor
Sandy L538 days agoWe Loved It! I loved the atmosphere walking in as soon as we entered. This restaurant is in an older restored house with tables beautifully arranged with white cloths and lovely lighting. The 4 of us all ordered different things and we all raved about the food. If you didn't like everything on a set menu, you could select your main and customize it with different sides, which is what I did. I especially enjoyed my Chilean Sea Bass with a lemon caper sauce with garlic chive whipped potatoes and asparagus. It may be the best Chilean Sea Bass I have ever had and I order it whenever I find it on a menu. Everything was delicious. There is also another more casual section of the restaurant with bar seating as well as tables for those who want to watch TV and eat simpler food.Posted on Tripadvisor
WWTraveler27686 days agoDinner after great day on the mountain 🗻 🏂⛷️🐺 It's a great steak and seafood restaurant. The service was excellent and efficient. However, if you charge ~$250+ for a bottle of Stags Leap, please pretend everyone is fancy and pour the bottle during dinner. The same bottle at the vineyard cost ~$45+/-. I understand the resultant has to pay a markup as well, and we are paying for the experience more than the wine 🍷, but at some point t, it just becomes principle more than anything. Everything was fantastic; the Chillean sea bass and short rib were well prepared. The fire 🔥 place took the chill off after a great day on the mountain 🗻. I would strongly recommend it and will be back. The piano 🎹 above the fireplace was wicked and unique. Thank you for a great visit to Pagosa Springs!Posted on Tripadvisor
Explore13794977142746 days agoParty of 2 for 6pm dinner reservations This restaurant is a nice place for really good food and excellent service. Party of 2 for a 6:00 dinner reservation. My Fiancé had Chilean Sea Bass, Safron Risotto with Steamed Broccoli and I had the Sea Scallops with Safron Risotto and Grilled Brussel Sprouts. Blackberry Cheesecake for dessert. Everything was prepared well and tasted delicious! We both highly recommend this restaurant when in Pagosa Springs! We will be returning!
